



François Désy
Board Chair
François Désy took the skills he learned earning a degree in farm business management and applied them to a management career in construction industry. Further training led a position as a technical and work relations advisor in the construction industry. Since 2008 he has been a certified corporate director and is also a member of Ordre des administrateurs agréés. He acts as a consultant in management and gouvernance. In May 2011, he did accept the executive vice president and general manager of the Chamber of Commerce of Manicouagan.
Danielle Amyot
Danielle Amyot holds a master’s degree in organizational management from Université du Québec à
Hubert Besnier, Attorney
Hubert Besnier has been a member of the bar since 1973 and earned a master’s degree in law in 1975. He is an associate partner at Besnier, Dion, Rondeau, SENC. As a litigant, he practices mainly in the areas of corporate and municipal law and civil liability. He is a member of various economic organizations in Sept-Îles and sits on the board of directors of a number of nonprofit organizations.
Lise Breton earned a degree in law and accounting from Université Laval. She is a multitalented and highly motivated manager who has held senior executive positions for over 20 years. She has been tasked with managing all financial, accounting, and material operations of a variety of businesses. As vice president of administration and finance and executive secretary at Asmacure, she has played an active role in developing and implementing a wide range of projects, which has enabled her to develop a comprehensive vision of organizational issues.
Julie Coulombe-Godbout
Julie Coulombe-Godbout received a master’s degree in public administration from ÉNAP. She currently serves as assistant director of administrative services at the Champlain Regional College St. Lawrence Campus. As such, she is responsible for financial services, material resources, IT services, and professional development. She has been working in the education field since 1979 and has gained extensive experience in developing restructuring plans in a variety of sectors. She is a member of Ordre des administrateurs agréés.
Fabienne Desroches
In addition to holding a master’s in speech therapy and audiology, Fabienne Desroches has also done doctoral studies at the Université de Montréal Faculty of Education. As executive director of Cégep de Sorel-Tracy since 2004, she has attracted note for her involvement in numerous committees in the area of education and her active role on a number of boards of directors. Fabienne Desroches has chaired and organized a variety of symposia in the past 15 years.
Georges Farrah
Georges Farrah holds an administration degree from Université de Moncton and has extensive experience in politics. In 1979 he was active in provincial politics and acted as lead organizer for an elected member and later served as president of Îles-de-la-Madeleine Liberal Association. He held a number of positions throughout his political career, including member for Îles-de-la-Madeleine, minister, and chief opposition whip. In 2000 he was reelected as member, this time at the federal level. Since January 2006, Georges Farrah has acted as president and CEO of Société des traversiers du Québec. He has been a certified corporate administrator since 2007. He has also been a member of Ordre des administrateurs agréés since 2008.
Annie Fournier
Annie Fournier earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in marketing from Université de Sherbrooke. She has ten years of experience in regional economic development and corporate financing support, notably through her positions as executive director, financial analyst, and corporate advisor. Annie Fournier is a member of a number of boards of directors of private companies in the Matane area and also works on various specific committees. In the last three years, by corporate mandate, she has contributed to the strategy and economic development of the City of
Lise Lambert
After earning her law degree in 1970, Lise Lambert practiced haw from 1971 to 1982 at the law firm Vézina, Pouliot et associés before agreeing to serve as vice president of Commission des transports du Québec from 1982 to 1997. From 1997 to 2002, she went on to serve first as vice chair and later chair of Régie de l'énergie before finally taking the reins as president of Commission des transports du Québec between 2004 and 2010. She has been a certified corporate administrator since 2008.
