Did you know about it ?
  • Every year, the Société has dredging works done at the L’Isle-aux-Coudres, L’Isle-aux-Grues and Rivière-du-Loup ferries to block sedimentation and silting that hinder berthing.
  • On the occasion of special events or of three-day weekends, the Société often adds relief crossings in order to make the visitors’ access to the festivities easier. Look for important notices that inform you of changes in the schedule.
  • The Société des traversiers is a member of several marine associations:

    • Canadian Ferry Operators Association (CFOA)
    • Interferry (international)
    • St.Lawrence Shipoperators
    • St.Lawrence Economic Development Council (SODES)
    • Green Marine (voluntary environmental Program of the St.Lawrence and Great Lakes Marine Industry)
